Character & Fashion Design Design 101

Age: Gr.5 -12 (2023-24 school year )
10 students max.
Class duration: 7hrs
Lunch: not provided (hot lunch available at the Calabash Cafe)
In Character Design 101 artists will learn how to accurately draw the human face, body proportions, different perspectives of the human body, and basic actions.
After they are comfortable with these concepts, we will then move onto character design.
Learning how to creatively make an original character with realistic and chibi styles.
Once the character is created it’s time to bring them to life! Artists will then be shown how to transform their characters into a 3D felt plush.
