Artistic Authors is a creative program designed for students in Grade 3–6 who are ready to develop their own stories and bring them to life through both writing and art.
In this program, students learn the fundamentals of story writing, including character development, story structure, and plot building through guided lessons and structured workbooks. They will plan their own stories step by step and write their own narratives.
At the same time, students explore how to express their stories visually. Using a variety of artistic techniques and materials, they will illustrate their scenes and transform their writing into a complete picture book.
This program is especially recommended for students who enjoy drawing and want to turn their ideas into a meaningful story project.
Students can take home their original drawings on the last day of camp.
Families may also choose to have their book printed. The book is produced in Korea and shipped to Canada, and it typically takes about 2–3 months to arrive.
